My Fall Fashion Wish List

It's almost September and the start of my favourite season—Fall! I love everything about the Fall: the weather, the beautiful scenery, the holidays, and especially the fashion!

Here are some of the new items that I am absolutely loving for this Fall season:
Fall Fashion Wish List
1. Superstretch Skinny Biker Trousers from Zara
Black skinny jeans and leggings are always a staple in my wardrobe for Fall and Winter. I especially love the zipper details on these pants because they have some extra edge to them!

2. Polka Dot Silk Top from Zara
I'm pretty obsessed with both polka dots and this pretty cream colour. This top would look so good for Fall paired with some skinny jeans, boots, and a blazer. And what I love about this top is that it could even remain as a wardrobe staple into the Spring paired with shorts or bright coloured skinny jeans!

3. Metallic Skirt from H&M
This beautiful metallic colour is so perfect for the Fall. Even though this skirt is such a stand-out piece, it's structure makes it so versatile. I would wear this to work, out for a day of shopping, or to a party.

4. Contrasted Quilted Jacket from Zara
I absolutely love this jacket because it's so versatile and also so flattering. It is beautifully tailored and includes piping that creates a nice silhouette. I really like the texture of quilted jackets and think this one would pair perfectly with almost any possible Fall outfit.

5. Weave Printed Top from Zara
Cheetah print has been hugely popular for years, and the trend is continuing into this Fall season. I really like this top because it's more neutral and less "in your face" than a lot of cheetah print. The back of this top also has a black exposed zipper, which I think adds a great touch.

6. Jersey Duster Jacket from Miss Selfridge
I absolutely love this jacket! It has such a cool print, but since it is so neutral, it could pair well with a variety of things. It seems so cosy, and I think it would look perfect with black leggings or skinny jeans, boots, and a plain white t-shirt.

7. Petite Spotty Swing Dress from Topshop
As I mentioned before, I absolutely love polka dots and can never get enough of them! I saw this dress on Topshop's website and completely fell in love with it. It is A-line and skater-style, but still structured enough to be super flattering. I love the three-quarter length sleeves and the exposed zipper on the back of the dress! It also has a vintage 60s feel to it which is a big trend for the Fall.

8. Soft Slipper from Zara
I always like shoes like these ones because they are so comfy and easy to wear. You can slip them on with jeans, leggings, or a dress and tights and instantly make the outfit look more classic and polished.

9. The Chelsea Boot from Madewell
Chelsea boots are a classic style that are going to be huge this Fall. Buying nice leather boots like these ones are a great investment because they will never go out of style. I especially like black Chelsea boots since they go with everything and add an element of chic-ness to anything they are paired with.

10. A-Line Faux Leather Skirt from Zara
Leather accents are going to be big again this Fall...leather pants, jackets, and, of course, skirts! I love this A-line style because it's not as tight as a lot of leather, so your legs are able to breathe.

11. Rubin Bootie from Steve Madden
Another pair of great boots for the Fall! I love lace-up boots, especially in brown and a taupe colour like this and definitely want to get a pair for this Fall. These boots are leather and seem like they are so comfortable, and they come in a variety of colours: taupe, black, cognac, and pale blue!

12. Faux Leather Jacket With Flounce from Zara
And last but not least, a classic Fall piece, a leather jacket! I'm really loving collarless leather jackets like this one and think this jacket would be the perfect compliment to any outfit.

My Bucket List

I have always been kind of a dreamer, so I love to imagine all of the exciting things I want to do someday. I am a very open-minded person and love to experience new things, so this list could go on forever! But here are some of the things that are at the top of my Bucket List:

1. Go skydiving

2. Travel to all 7 continents

Yes, even Antarctica. So far, I've checked off North America and Europe!

3. Live abroad

I would be open to living pretty much anywhere in the world in the near future, but I would like to end up in London!

4. Go bungee jumping

5. Take a surfing lesson

Preferably in Australia or Southern California.

6. Attend a red carpet event

7. Play blackjack in Las Vegas

8. Go on an African safari

9. Ride a camel in the desert

10. Visit the Great Wall of China

11. Walk up the Sydney Harbour Bridge

12. Go to Carnival in Rio de Janeiro

13. See the Northern Lights

14. Ride in a hot air balloon and a helicopter

15. Swim with dolphins

16. Attend a music festival

17. Road trip across the US

While I've seen lots of different places in Europe, there are still so many places in the U.S. that I want to see: Chicago, the Grand Canyon, Miami, Northern California, New Orleans, Colorado, and Hawaii (which I know wouldn't really be possible to road trip to, but I still want to go there!)

18. Become fluent in French or Spanish

I speak both French and Spanish at an intermediate level, but not well enough to really have a conversation with a native speaker of that language. I'd love to get to the point where I can have a conversation in French or Spanish without stressing or having to translate in my head!

19. Fly First Class

20. Experience New Years Eve in Times Square

21. Learn how to cook a good go-to meal

For Christmas this year, I made chicken marsala for my family that actually turned out pretty good! If I perfect this, it could be a contender!

22. Get my bartending license

23. Go to an airport and buy a ticket to the next flight out

I saw this in the movie Yes Man and have wanted to do this ever since! Although the characters in the movie end up getting a flight to Lincoln, Nebraska, so I might try to go for something a little more interesting!

24. Attend Fashion Week in Paris, London, or New York

25. Try a local dish in every place that I travel to

I have been doing pretty well with this so far! I've had escargot in Paris, fish and chips in London, paella in Barcelona and Madrid, pasta and gelato in Rome, countless traditional dishes in Lyon where I studied abroad, a caipirrinha in Lisbon, schnitzel and pretzels in Munich, Korean food and a kabob from booths in Pike Place Market in Seattle, bagels in New York, and lobster and Cows ice cream in Prince Edward Island!

And while I have lots of things I still want to do and experience, I have been really fortunate in my life so far and have already crossed off some things from my bucket list! Some of them are:

• Climb the Eiffel Tower by stairs

• Attend Oktoberfest in Munich

• Ride the London Eye

• Learn to play an instrument (I played guitar in high school and was even in a rock band with some friends!)

• Study abroad

• Stay out all night long

• Ride an elephant

• Go to a wine tasting in France

• Get "discovered" (When I was 14, I went on vacation with my family to Southern California, and when we were in LA, a woman approached me wanting me to audition for something. I'm sure that happens all the time, and it turned out you really need to live in California for it to work out, but it was still cool!)

• Go on a cruise

• Dance on top of a bar

• Become friends with people from all over the world

I can't wait to cross more things off my bucket list, and I will keep you posted as I have more fun experiences! Leave me a comment telling me about some of the top things on your bucket list! :)

There was a popular YouTube tag going around this past year called 25 Facts About Me. I thought this could be an interesting second blog post so you can get to know a little bit more about me!

9. My favourite bands are All Time Low and One Direction.

13. I have a bit of an addiction to tea and drink anywhere from 3-5 cups of tea on a normal day. A couple summers ago, I was drinking about 7-8 cups per day but had to cut down when it made me have to go to the bathroom every half hour.

22. When shopping, I have a weakness for Peter Pan collars and polka dots.
